SOUNDEST is the first zine that celebrates all representations of sound art and sound in the arts on an international level. It is edited and produced by a sound and media artist Ava Grayson and features interviews, writings, and works by:

In celebration of the second release, contributors involved in both issues come together to give artist talks and performances. Grayson will talk about her own work as a teacher, artist, and facilitator in the field of sound. Artist Steve Maher will discuss social engagements through the DIY musical objects he creates. Marko Timlin will give an artist talk and demonstration of his current work entitled SKANNEREIDEN ORKESTERI, a large-scale kinetic sound and light sculpture based on 50 radically-modified scanners. Petri Kuljuntausta and Ava Grayson will perform an improvised set. Drinks and chat will follow after the program.
