PUBLICS Library is reopening on Wednesday 22nd October 12-18.00

During the summer months our space along with our library was closed for renovations. We are back in our space in Vallila and excited to announce that our Library is reopening on October 22nd. The library is open weekly on Wednesdays between 12 –18. Welcome! 

We have a large number of new books that we will be bringing into our library and will make regular announcements in the coming week to let you know more about these publications!

PUBLICS Library houses more than 8000+ publications in 15 categories around contemporary art and curating. Updated monthly with new titles coming in from the local publishing scene and abroad, our Library is one of the most up to date curatorial, art and theory Libraries in Finland and Europe. During our open Library days, visitors are welcome to read and browse as well as work on their own in our space in Vallila.

📖 Books are in English, available to read, to study and to browse on site. For visitors planning to return, we invite you to compile your own collection of books that are reserved until your next visit.

🏷️ Our non-profit bookstore is available in connection to our Library opening hours. The bookstore offers various beloved titles from our Library collection, including a bunch of rare finds and books PUBLICS has co-published.
