Program at Teurastamo, next to Helsingin Kahvipaahtimo:
4–6pm
Artists Magdalena Åberg and Anna Tahkola at Kohta
4–5pm
Tuomas A. Laitinen will play a hybrid DJ/live-set that creates an amorphous symbiosis of East African electronic music, medieval tunes, and shapeshifting sound collages derived from Laitinen’s compositions.
Tuomas A. Laitinen is an artist who works with moving image, sound, glass, chemical and microbial processes, and algorithms to explore the entanglements of multispecies coexistence. Laitinen composes situations and installations that inquire into the porous interconnectedness of language, body, and matter within morphing ecosystems.
5–6pm
MYÖS presents: 12 Months of Pain!
This energetic duo will make your hips move and your heart pound through the magic of music. Expect hard beats, soft grooves and fun surprises.
MYÖS is a Helsinki based DIY collective, party platform and co-care network for genre-fluid electronic music DJs, VJs, producers, organizers, party lovers and allies of currently underrepresented actors in the local club scene, and anyone in favor of a safer space to party in.
6–7pm
Frank Frank Frank – a power trio that combines the deep existence of pop music, the force of human vocals and the magic of improvisation. The group has drawn influence from artists like Prince, Spice Girls and Björk.
Please note that Kohta can accommodate max. 10 people at a time.
Guests need to wear masks when inside and keep a safe distance to others at all times. Please stay at home if you have any symptoms of Covid-19.
