Join for the PUBLICS launch of the In Character: Publication & Podcast made by the Teen Advisory Boards of Index in Stockholm (ITAB) and PRAKSIS in Oslo (PTAB). This event will take place on Zoom, you can join here

This two-part publication and podcast draw on questions collectively asked within the In Character project. Working together with artists and team members from Index, PRAKSIS, and PUBLICS the Teen Advisory Boards addressed behavioural patterns within the art world: What characters do we encounter? What roles do we take on? Do we change our behaviour depending on the space in which we find ourselves? What norms dictate the dynamics of art spaces?

By collectively confronting institutions, consumers and the participants themselves, In Character sets up a space to reflect upon social norms in an attempt to rethink them. The publication and podcast share ‘games’ based on workshops TAB were part of, as well as reflections on topics that TAB wish to highlight.

This event is open to all and will feature short introductions from PTAB members Nasteha Hassan Mahamed and Mikkel Inchley, and ITAB members Adina Edfelt and Felix Krausz Sjögren followed by open discussion.

In Character: Publication & Podcast is co-produced by the Teen Advisory Boards of PRAKSIS and Index, together with team members from PRAKSIS, Index and PUBLICS. In Character hosted a conference at PUBLICS in the Autumn of 2021, where aspects of the publication and podcast content were developed. This year, the collaboration continues with the addition of the first PUBLICS YOUTH Advisory Board.
