Catalysti Association of Transcultural Artists presents 2084, an exhibition and festival in Cable Factory, Valssaamo, Helsinki, on 1-13 October 2020. Curated by Anne Klontz, the exhibition showcases the work of the association’s members, as well as welcome some international guests. 2084 speculates on the role power will play in the future. The exhibition doesn’t aim to provide answers but offers narratives on the various ways power is activated today and what could happen in the years to come.
Two artists, Per Hüttner and Vidha Saumya, were invited to each select five books relating to the theme of ‘power’. This is a collaboration between Catalysti and PUBLICS on the occasion of the exhibition. The selection of books is available at PUBLICS Library during the exhibition. Please see PUBLICS visiting hours and details here.
